New projects

It's been a while since my last post, but that doesn't mean I didn't do anything.
I have finished my cookbook for people with foodallergy/sensitivity, it will be available in june.


I just started with my anatomy book for children age 10+. Since it is based on the concept of Underskin I have made a new hopefully more accurate version of my former illustration.

New website! and MA title

It's been a while since my last post. I have some technical problems with this blog and I am thinking of moving it to a new address. Probably somewhere this week, I'll post the new address when I am finished.

This summer I graduated and recieved my Master of arts with distiction, which gives me hopefully more time to blog. The recipes and photographs for the cookbook are coming together now, so I am hoping to find a publisher soon. Now it's getting serious I have created a new website with food photography: www.justsam.nl

Food photography

Apple/coconut/lemon cookies (photo in pink), Honey thyme cookies (with flowers on top) and apple pie with cardamom and cinnamon.

I really enjoy working on this book, maybe I should start a food blog with lots of photographs and offcourse recipes? Anybody interested?

Lisa and Lilly Memory game app

Together with my brother I have created a Memory game for the Ipad and Iphone.

Yesterday we got the news from Apple that it was approved for publication. You can download the Ipad version here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lisa-lilly-memory/id452517282?ls=1&mt=8 The Iphone will follow very soon.

At the moment we are working on two picture books, we expect to finish in September. More details coming soon!

Working hard to become a better cook, stylist and photographer

I am working hard to create recipes that are suitable for me to eat (I have multiple food allergies), that are delicious and stylish at the same time. It takes time, but I am getting better already!
